Muscat, August 16th 2015 – Takatuf gathered in Intercontinental Hotel several of the leading companies in the Sultanate to celebrate and recognize EXCELLENCE in the fields of empowering people, pioneering opportunities for national economic growth and strengthening organizations.
In this event, held under the patronage of HE Salim Al Aufi, under-secretary of the Ministry of Oil and Gas, Takatuf recognized the individuals and corporate initiatives that are setting the example for others while building a greater future for themselves, their organizations and Oman, recognizing students and professionals graduating from “Mawahib Takatuf” and “Takatuf Essentials of Management” programmes and honouring those organizations pioneering in their industries with the “Takatuf Excellence Awards.”
Mr Brad Boyson of the Society for Human Resource Management and Mr Khalid Al Rawahi of Awtad International, speakers at the event, contributed even more to the evolving topic of Excellence, with their professional wisdom, insight and academic contribution.
This event showcased how Takatuf and the Omani leading companies represented at the event are “Building Pride” at all levels of the Omani society, enabling the most valuable resource and asset, our people, to become the wealth of the nation.
Takatuf Excellence Awards (TEA), is an initiative by Takatuf, aimed to recognize organizations for their excellence in Human Resources and In-Country Value (ICV) practices and programmes. Simultaneously, the initiative provides educational opportunities for HR and ICV practitioners to learn more about the standards and benchmarks that define excellence in the development and delivery of these services.
In the launch of the Oman’s first HR and ICV award, more than 40 projects were submitted. There were seven categories, and these are the winners for the 2014 edition:
